Places I love in town
Here are a few of my favorite restaurants, shops and must do's while you are in town.
PLaces to stay
WINTER PARK:
I love the Winter Park area, it is my favorite city in the Orlando area. There are tons of shops, amazing restaurants, a beautiful park to take a stroll and go to all the cute boutiques. This is about 20 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes to my studio from here. This is also the town where my recommended hair and makeup artist is located.
This is a very safe town and everything is very close by which is why I recommend staying here. Here are a few of my favorite hotels in the Winter Park area.
Alfond Inn: This is an amazing hotel located in the heart of Winter Park. It is a 112 room boutique hotel includes the award-winning Hamilton's Kitchen restaurant, a pool and fitness center and walking distance to the park on Park Ave. great shops, a few wine bars, restaurants and more.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Winter Park. This is a new hotel and is super clean and in the center of Winter Park. Across the street is a Whole Foods, TJ Maxx/Homegoods, Starbucks and more. It is close to interstate 4.
LAKE MARY:
This is the town right next to my studio. A cute little downtown area with restaurants and shops. This is a sprawling town so it is not easily walkable, you will need to have a car to get from place to place.
Places to stay in Lake Mary
The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North: A great hotel that is across the street and within walking distance from a movie theater, a ton of restaurants and a grocery store and Starbucks.
Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Lake Mary: This is directly across the street from the Westin and is another great choice to stay at.

I recommend grabbing a glass of wine and watching the sunset before you grab dinner. My favorite dinner go to is the Hawaiian rib eye and a whiskey. 215 S Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL
The Glass Knife, this is a beautiful bakery, brunch and lunch spot with the most decadent and gorgeous seasonal desserts you have ever seen. The interior decor is perfection and I love their macaroons, berry bacon spinach salad and avocado toast. 276 S Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL
Prato, this is an Italian restaurant that serves the classics with modern techniques and seasonal ingredients. They are right on Park ave. and I love the atmosphere and the huge greenery wall! 124 N. Park Avenue Winter Park, FL

Winter Park Boat Tour, I have loved doing this since I was a little girl! the boat tour offers hour-long, guided cruises through three of the seven lakes and two, narrow manmade canals on the tranquil Winter Park chain. You go by some incredible homes, see Mr. Rogers alumni and get a little sunshine on your face. 312 E Morse Blvd, Winter Park, FL
Leu Gardens, This is a huge botanical and tropical garden that is self guided walking through the grounds. If you haven't learned yet, I am a little obsessed with plants!
